Founder & Clinical DirectorAdena Worona, LCSW
Adena created Park West Wellness with a clear mission: to help people move through life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and support. She is dedicated to helping you envision a meaningful future and step into the strongest version of yourself.
Adena received her MSW from the University of Southern California and later moved back to her home state of New York, where she became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Adena is independently licensed in the state of New York, California and North Carolina. Adena is a capable, experienced therapist who values creativity and individual expression, she believes therapy to be a collaborative effort, that can lead to a more compassionate self view and to obtaining more enjoyment out of yourself, your loved ones, and life.
Adena has experience working with children, teens, adults, and families that need support in life transitions, stress, depression, anxiety, panic disorder, PTSD, relationship issues, including breakup and relationship recovery, chronic illness, and women’s health concerns (including hormonal and reproductive health). Adena is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.
Outside of work, Adena lives in Manhattan, enjoys running, hiking, going to the dog park, and trying out new restaurants throughout the city.
Therapist Nicole Mazza, LCSW
Nicole is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York. Nicole earned her MSW from Fordham University and BSW from Rutgers University. Nicole's clinical background includes work in hospital medicine and complex behavioral health care, where she supported individuals and families navigating acute illness, major life transitions, and emotional stress.
Nicole specializes in working with adults experiencing anxiety, life transitions, stress, depression, relationship issues including family challenges, and the emotional impact of daily life. Nicole has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from New York University and experience in strengths-based perspective, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and solution focused brief therapy. Nicole helps her clients better understand their patterns, build effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. Nicole believes that therapy should feel like a space where you can slow down, feel understood and gain clarity all while developing tools that support the individual outside of session.
Outside of work, you can find Nicole walking her two dogs, spending time with loved ones, and attending an OrangeTheory workout class.
