Meet: Adena Worona, LCSW

Adena created Park West Wellness with a clear mission: to help people move through life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and support. She is dedicated to helping you envision a meaningful future and step into the strongest version of yourself.

Adena received her MSW from the University of Southern California and later moved back to her home state of New York, where she became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Adena is independently licensed in the state of New York, California and North Carolina. Adena is a capable, experienced therapist who values creativity and individual expression, she believes therapy to be a collaborative effort, that can lead to a more compassionate self view and to obtaining more enjoyment out of yourself, your loved ones, and life.

Adena has experience working with children, teens, adults, and families that need support in life transitions, stress, depression, anxiety, panic disorder, PTSD, coping with grief, and relationship issues, chronic illness. Adena is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.

Outside of work, Adena lives in Manhattan, enjoys running, hiking, going to the dog park, and trying out new restaurants throughout the city.
