Our Approach

Park West Wellness works to provide individuals with a safe, non-judgmental space to develop an open, trusting relationship. Park West Wellness will listen carefully and enthusiastically support your growth while examining negative thought patterns and self-talk.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based practice that focuses on the way your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect. CBT can help you identify and cope with specific challenges and helps you to become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way. CBT can be an effective tool to help anyone learn how to better manage stressful life situations, depression and anxiety.

Alongside CBT, we incorporate Parts Work, an approach rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps clients better understand the different internal “parts” that influence their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This process encourages greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the ability to respond rather than react in challenging situations.

Reaching out and seeking support is not always easy but it is the first step towards feeling better.

They offer all the therapeutic benefits of in-person work, while allowing you to meet from the comfort and privacy of your home. Park West Wellness currently provides all services remotely.
